ONGOING SERVICE

Registered Agent Service

Every IBC must have a registered agent. ACS acts as your company's official registered agent in Saint Lucia for as long as you keep the service in place.

What ACS does as your registered agent

  • Files documents with the registry
  • Receives official notices — On your company's behalf.
  • Keeps your company's statutory records — Including the registers of directors and shareholders, kept up to date after any change.
  • Carries out the required KYC — On your company's owners and directors, as Saint Lucia anti-money laundering law requires, and updates it every year.

ONGOING SERVICE

Registered Office Address

Your company's official address in Saint Lucia, provided by ACS, where legal notices and official correspondence are sent.

Note: The registered office is not a place of business. If a bank, authority or partner asks for evidence of business premises, add the Office / Lease Agreement Service.

What we'll ask you for

  • Name and contact details of the current registered agent
  • Whether the current agent has been notified

  • Current corporate documents and KYC documents

Who can order this

Non-ACS clients (companies with another registered agent).

QUESTIONS

Registered Agent Questions

What is the difference between a registered agent and a registered office?

The registered agent is the service provider that files with the registry, receives official notices, keeps the company's records and carries out KYC. The registered office is the company's official address for legal notices. ACS provides both.

Can I order the registered agent service on its own?

It comes as part of a formation package, the Continuation Package or a transfer to ACS, and is then renewed each year through Annual Renewal.

Can I run my business from the registered office address?

No. The registered office is not a place of business. If someone asks for evidence of business premises, see the Office / Lease Agreement Service.

Can my company transfer to ACS?

Yes, subject to ACS's KYC review. Tell us about any outstanding fees, filings or compliance issues with your current agent when you apply.

What if my records are incomplete?

ACS can review and rebuild missing or inconsistent records through Transfer Records Remediation.

Accounting & Tax Assistance

ACS can connect clients with qualified accounting professionals for bookkeeping, financial statements, tax preparation, audit services and related accounting requirements.

These services are provided independently by the accounting professionals and are subject to their respective terms and fees.

BEFORE YOU REQUEST

What to Expect

You see your complete fee schedule and pay when you submit your application. ACS's compliance review takes place after payment. Submitting and paying does not by itself create a client engagement: work begins once ACS accepts the request and the engagement documents are in place.

ACS does not guarantee that a registry, government authority, bank or other third party will accept, approve or complete a request. Those decisions are theirs.

If a request is declined, refunds are handled under ACS's refund policy.

ACS provides legal letters, legal opinions and related legal services directly.
